It has been a great day so far!! Other than finding out that the liquor stores are not open on Sundays. How can I cope with no vodka!!
Yesterday was the travel day. Pita did so well with it. I dropped her off at the check-in (with a little muscle from the bro-in-law) and we're off!! The flight is around 3 hours and the entire time I was a little nervous about how Pita was handling it. I should not have worried. When I came down to the baggage claims, she was waiting for me in her kennel with a face that shouted, "You are not gonna believe what just happened to me, Mom!" She is such a great dog!
We got the rental car and headed to the apartment. It is a really cute place in Plymouth. Only one bedroom so not as much room for Pita to run around, but no worries.
Today a friend of mine and I tried a place in Uptown called Lucia. All organic, fresh produce. It was good- not great-- but good. Walking around Uptown was nice with a couple book stores and other fun places to explore.
Next up was the Cathedral of St. Paul. OMG! This place is amazing. Luckily, we were able to walk around because there was not a mass going on. It has amazing!! They currently have a replica of Michelangelo's Pieta on display. It is beautiful and so detailed!!
Great Day 2!! I like Minneapolis so far! I cannot wait for more. . .
